Who are you?
Tanya Beeson, I’m a Thirty…mmmrrrsshish year old animator who lives and works in and around Perth

What do you do?
I’m a Freelance Animator, part time lecturer and co-creator of the upcoming webseries Gate Street High. This falls under the hat of my own company Junglecat Films which is currently me and my cohort Evangeline Than

What have you done?
Aside from lecturing and the occasional commercial piece? Last year I directed two short films for Nickelodeon and this year I have focused on developing Gate Street High, which was started a few years ago by myself and a friend, Ryan Young (who’s a talented Tattoo Artist now). I do a fair amount of drawing and writing

What are you going to do?
Well GsH is the focus at the moment, but I have several Ideas to explore later down the track. I’d like to be producing/directing stuff full time and to a wider reaching audience.

Where can we find you?
Well I’m usually hanging out at WCIT (the West Coast Institute of Training) or the Film and Television Institute’s Animation Center. Gate Street High has its own blog – http://gatestreethigh.blogspot.com
or on facebook/msn, GsH has its own page and so do several of the GsH characters. I can often be found on the train riding across the far reaches of our great city.

If you are interested in something, dive in and see what you can get out of it, don’t hide and skip out on anything because great things happen when you are least expecting them to.
