Meet the carnival crew in the flesh as they share stories of their journeys through the incredible world of film, cinema and digital media.

Jamie Leonarder – Jamie has been involved in underground artistic ventures for well over 25 years. An avid collectors of lost film footage they have became Robin Hood figure’s to the A.B.C. finding them more original lost footage of their T.V shows from the early 60’s than any other organization. Jaimie was also one of the co-hosts on SBS The Movie Show from June 2004 to June 2006. Jamie and his wife Aspa hold weekly screenings in their home “The Mu-Meson Archives” collecting all sorts of topics that get either little coverage or none at all.

Danni Zuvela – part of the artists’ collective OtherFilm, with film artist Sally Golding and sound artist Joel Stern, she hosts regular events, experiences, debates and arguments on experimental media in general, and live audiovisual art in particular. Danni has been involved with the Brisbane International Film Festival since she used to sneak into screenings underage, and now they let her meddle officially with film in the Programming Committee, and as a judge of the Queensland New Filmmakers Awards. She teaches Animation, Screen History, Screen Aesthetics and more at Griffith University and the Queensland College of Art, and is a regular contributor to Art Monthly, Artlink, and eyeline, and has been a commissioning editor at Realtime since 2002.

Dan Monceaux and Emma Sterling of Supermarket – The Supermarket experience strives to be food for the soul and a feast for the senses. The Supermarket team has toured the USA and Canada twice, and appeared at numerous events in Australia including the Adelaide Fringe Festival and Sydney Underground Film Festival. Danimations are all about sharing and inspiring. They run the blog Creativity Base and run seminars and workshops dispensing their specialized knowledge. Danimation have presented sessions at film, arts and academic institutions in Canada, the USA and Australia.
